Recognized as one of Canada’s top entrepreneurial cities, Kelowna has the third largest technology sector in British Columbia. The city’s central regional location, low business tax rate, quality of life, world-class academic institutions, growing international airport, and thriving arts and culture scene ideally position Kelowna for further growth.

The Okanagan Centre for Innovation is located within the Cultural District, in the heart of Kelowna’s traditional downtown. The City of Kelowna is strongly committed to its downtown and currently there are a number of major residential, hotel and office projects in the works that, in addition to the established business, tourist and arts and culture scene are transforming the downtown into a job-based urban core.

Positioned immediately adjacent to the Downtown Branch of the Regional Library, the OCI will benefit from a physical connection to this valuable community resource.

The Okanagan Centre for Innovation (OCI) is a 9,728 m2 (104,715 s.f.) facility proposed for development on a 2,025 m2 (21,800 s.f.) lot at the corner of Doyle and Ellis in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District.
